Our Information Sharing Practices
(a) Advertisers. From time to time, we may share your Usage Data and other information to enable third parties who serve advertisements on the Services to deliver advertisements that will be relevant to you. We recommend familiarization with these vendors’ respective Terms and Policies.
(b) Aggregated Data. At our sole discretion, we may share aggregated User Information with third parties.
(c) Service Providers. At our sole discretion, we may enter into relationships with third parties who provide services to us (e.g., data management and storage services, servers, and hosts). In those circumstances, we may disclose User Information that is necessary for such service providers to perform those services.
If you identify any User Information as public, you are authorizing us to share such information publicly and without limitation. For example, you may choose to make certain Shared Information (such as your alias, bio, email or photos) publicly available. Additionally, there may be areas of the Services (e.g., message boards, discussion rooms, and other online forums) in which you are able to post information that will be available to any and all other users of the Services. By using these areas, you understand and agree that anyone may access, use, and disclose any information that you post to those areas. Your use of the Services is at your own risk.
We may also use “pixel tags,” which are small graphic files that allow us to monitor the use of the Services. A pixel tag may collect information such as the IP address of the device that downloaded the page on which the tag appears; the URL of the webpage on which the pixel tag appears; the time (and length of time) the page containing the pixel tag was displayed or viewed; the type or name of the browser that retrieved the pixel tag; and the identification number of any cookie previously placed by that server on your device.
We may use pixel tags, either provided by us or by third party vendors (such as advertisers), to collect information about your visit, including the pages you view, the links you click or hover upon, and other actions taken in connection with our sites and Services and use them in combination with cookies to provide offers and information relevant to you.
We may also allow certain analytic services and providers of applications used on the Services (e.g., sharing buttons) to collect information by placing cookies or pixel tags upon the Services that may track certain performance of our Services, such as, web traffic, click-throughs, etc., in order to provide us and/or our service providers with better understanding of the interests of our users and to better cater to those interests.
In order to deliver or display offers and advertisements that may be of interest to our users, we may display targeted advertisements on the Services based on information collected by your use of the Services. Please note that advertisers (including ad serving companies) may determine based on their own analysis that a user who interacts with an advertisement targeted by us may fit into a certain demographic category; for example, an advertiser may determine that women ages 30-34 are interacting with a certain advertisement on the Services from a particular geographic area.
