Study claims Android devices crash more than iOS devices
Blancco Technology Group recently released its State of Mobile Device Performance and Health report. Containing observations from the first quarter of 2015, the report says Android devices crash more than iOS devices.
Led by the Samsung Galaxy S6, Android earned a 44% failure rate, followed by the Galaxy S5 and the Lenovo K3 Note. Apple’s iOS platform got a 25% failure rate overall, with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s being Apple’s worst performers in the study.
Perhaps more interestingly, the report also mentions that Asia suffers from more device failures than North America – an astonishing 55% versus North America’s 27% and Europe’s 35% failure rate.
