Apple is preparing far more iPhone 7 devices than analysts expected
Apple apparently thinks the iPhone 7 will be a winner. Analysts expected Apple to produce around 65 million iPhone 7 devices this year, but Taiwan’s Economic Daily says that Apple is up to otherwise. It claims that Apple wants between 72 and 78 million devices made.
This naturally leads us to believe that the iPhone 7 might have something we’re not expecting. Recent leaks showed us that Apple’s next flagship might have quad-speaker audio and significant improvements to the camera, but we’re guessing that Apple would need more than that to compel so many users to upgrade. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook said in an interview with Jim Cramer earlier this month that “We are going to give you things you can’t live without.” Looks like they’re putting their money where their mouth is.
